Statutes of ESPERE

Most important issue of this newsletter: The statutes of the future ESPERE association are under consideration.

The current version of the statutes, already checked by Polish lawyers and including some comments is published linked to the ESPERE front page [also as downloadable PDF-file].

The Steering Committee and some members are currently discussing the statutes on an interactive board. The access to the board is password protected. The former password is still valid but will be sent again to all members and advisors. If you have any comments on the statutes you can also write to the Steering Committee and we will submit your contribution to the running discussion.

New member in the Steering Committee

Prof. Andrea Flossmann resigned from the Steering Committee due to too many other obligations. The Clermont group is still represented by Marie Monier. Dr. Thierry Elias from the University of Evora, Portugal, No. 8 in the december election, has been assigned to succeed Prof. Flossmann in the committee by the remaining members with 6 YES of 6 votes. We thank Thierry Elias for his readiness work in the Steering Committee.

Structure & Design

ESPERE-ENC will be developed on a new server with a new layout by professional web-designers. The ESPERE pages of www.espere.net will remain independent and be the Internet presence of the future ESPERE association, but also the gateway to ESPERE-ENC.

We thank Daniel Ernst, student at the Dorfen Grammar school, and editor of a local Youth Portal for his committment. He is basically responsible for the new layout and due to his work many of the ESPERE core pages meanwhile changed to a state of the art layout.
