What is new on our website? --------------------------- We are happy to inform you that a new record of 7400 daily visitors for our joint environmental education server was reached in November 2005. The English and the German language branch of the ESPERE climate encyclopaedia were subject to major revisions and language checks. For the German version a completely new downloadable offline version is available since December, 3rd. To mediate between providers of international environmental education efforts where possible. A meeting is planned in April 2006 in Vienna. To cooperate with partners like Greenfacts, ACCENT and QUANTIFY. To initiate a framework for long term availability and updates of the climate encyclopaedia. Therefore we would like to win the support of many scientists in an extended board of godparents. http://www.espere.net/Aboutus/godparents.html Assembly in Vienna ------------------ The Assembly of members of the ESPERE Association 2006 will take place as real meeting during EGU's General Assembly in April, 2nd - 7th 2006 in Vienna. Please find links to the program and meetings planned there at: http://www.atmosphere.mpg.de/enid/vienna06pi In parallel a virtual Assembly will be carried out for those, who will not attend the meeting in Vienna. GIFT workshop for teachers -------------------------- Please be informed that there are still places free for the GIFT workshop for science teachers during the EGU assembly, which is in major parts granted by the EGU. http://www.atmosphere.mpg.de/enid/gift Please inform teachers you know. In particular more participants from new EU member countries are welcome. How to support us? ------------------ If you are scientist, we would be happy if you join our board of godparents for a certain field and language. http://www.espere.net/Aboutus/godparents.html If you are teacher, we would be happy if you cooperate with us in concrete classroom projects, in which materials of ESPERE or partner projects are used.
